Hi! I’m Suzy Richardt, owner of Pathways Editorial. With more than 12 years of experience in writing and editing as an international educator, language teacher, and freelance editor, I am a creative and reliable problem-solver who can work across cultures to move your message forward.

From developmental editing and copyediting to digital publishing, I find it highly rewarding to work with scholars, educators, and community leaders from across the globe to polish and publish their ideas.

Originally from Detroit, Michigan, I draw on the intercultural and interpersonal skills I’ve learned from living and working in Morocco, Tunisia, and now Romania to help writers communicate sensitively and effectively, whether you are a multilingual author or writing for an international audience.

Since 2024, I’ve been the managing editor of TESOL Connections, a monthly digital magazine from TESOL International Association. We publish professional development topics for teachers of English to speakers of other languages (i.e., TESOL educators).

I’ve also written or edited scholarly works in applied linguistics, nonprofit fundraising and event materials, and U.S. immigration policy guides for international university students—and I’m eager to expand that list!
